Implementing this 360 plan—with its focus on further supporting our community and innovating our program—will involve all of us. Even as we work toward achieving these strategic priorities and subsequent goals, we know that the Plan itself will evolve. The success of this Plan rests on the willingness of all in our community to share ownership of these goals and help translate them into practice.

Our thinking and strategic work will now be followed by ongoing conversations with community members serving in various roles, whose expertise and input will help us determine the financial implications to make this plan a reality. Hopkins’ financial sustainability depends on the support and generosity of current and past parents, committed alumni/ae, and friends of the School. As we build a culture of philanthropy, this 360 plan will be a vehicle for us to match donor interest with initiatives that are mission-driven and meet the needs of our people and program. Furthermore, the Plan will provide the necessary groundwork to launch a comprehensive fundraising campaign in the future.


As we embark on our next 360 years, we do so with a renewed commitment to educating our "hopeful youths." The collective work of developing, launching and realizing our strategic vision draws on the spirit of collaboration that defines the special character of our school.
